Why We Started RideRishikesh
We're Ashu Tosh Nautiyal and Nitin Gwari β cousins, Rishikesh locals, and the two people behind RideRishikesh.
We didn't start this as a business idea on a whiteboard. We started it because we kept watching the same thing happen β travellers arriving in Rishikesh full of excitement, then getting handed an under-maintained scooty by a roadside stall, charged double the fair rate, and given zero local advice. It frustrated us. We knew we could do better.
Ashu brings the tech and operations side β a BSc in IT and years of full-stack development and freelancing means the booking process is smooth, fast, and hassle-free. Nitin brings the soul of Rishikesh β an MA in Yoga, a regular presence at Ganga Aarti on Shatrughan Ghat, and the kind of local knowledge that no travel app can replicate.
Together, we built RideRishikesh β a service we'd actually want to use ourselves.
